For some time troubled dogs and troublesome owners have turned to Cesar Millan for their mental wellbeing. Well, after a very long wait, it’s the turn of the cats. Dr Katrina Warren has come to the aid of frenzied felines and persecuted owners and her exploits are to be broadcast on a weekly basis on Housecat Housecall on Animal Planet. The sister site also has a number of tips, an “ask the cat guru” section and an animated intro we could just watch again and again.

We’re not sure just how getting our furry friends on the couch will actually work out in the long term but we’re certainly looking forward to finding out. You can catch some highlights on the Animal Planet page including how to introduce your cat to your baby (good luck!), a handy guide to dangerous plants (particularly problematic if you, like us, own a very greedy and not too picky cat) and a number of “case studies”. We eagerly await a feature length Felix, a difficult case for treatment.
